Please read the information carefully and study the images to assess the stage of wear occurring on your Spider base.
STAGE A - If your Spider base is used it will show some "cupping" of the pin's ball head similar to the image below. This level of wear is normal and every Spider unit will show this cupping to some degree.
Action: We recommend that you take advantage of this limited time offer to purchase the upgrade. You can continue to use your Spider Holster but monitor the continued "cupping" and if you reach Stage B, described below, then reevaluate the need to put the upgraded base to work. When upgrading your Spider base you will continue using your old clip and tension spring, in concert with the newly provided screws and wrench.
STAGE B - If your Spider base is showing signs of excessive wear, we ask you to please refrain from using your SpiderPro until an upgrade can be installed.
Action: Replace your current unit with the upgraded Spider base as soon as possible. Contact us for upgrade information.
You will be using your current Clip and tension spring (see drawing), and new screws that will come with the upgrade base.
